MUSTARD SEED MINISTRIES |

Letter
of introduction The spectrum of people, to be cared for in our house, varied from alcoholics, drug addicts, prostitutes and destitute persons rejected by family. These persons were accepted as family. They were supplied with a home including meals. Attending our weekly cell group and quiet time were compulsory. All were offered the opportunity of inner healing and deliverance. The cell group was opened up to persons in need and not living in the house. They were also invited to our Sunday lunch. When possible we assisted people outside the house with help. In November 2005 our main sponsor withdrew and we had to give up the house. In February 2006 we started the process of registering as an article 21 Company and as a Non Profit Organization. The vision is to start the River Center where Christians in need can come for healing, including accommodation where possible. The main target area for the outreach will be the inner city of Pretoria.
Yours
in Christ
The foundation for this ministry is Isaiah 58:6-12. The River Center will start with one house with the vision of expanding to a complex of buildings where Christians can come for healing. The only source of healing will be Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The healing will consist of counseling, deliverance and emotional healing. The River Center will accept new converts as well as more mature Christians. The focus firstly, will be on healing and then on discipleship to equip them to bear fruit in our Fathers Kingdom. Counseling and emotional healing and later discipleship training will be compulsory for the persons accepted to the River Center. People with employment will be asked for a contribution. Unemployed and needy persons will be subsidized on merit. There will be a facility for persons to attend without staying at the facility as well as a followup program for persons who used the services of the center. All persons will be encouraged to join a Spirit filled church and to attend a cell group. The Center will also reach out to fellow Christians with physical needs, for example food and clothing. The ministry team will also be involved with inner city outreaches like Crossroads Coffeehouse and Africa Wheels of Hope. The River Center will submit to the Spiritual covering of the Revival Center under Colin McGee.
Notes:
Mustard Seed Ministry will consist of two parts, a Cyberspace counseling {Deo Valente Mission International} and The River (of live) Center. 1. The Cyberspace ministry {Deo Valente Mission International} consists of a Website and e-mails where broken or hurt persons can e-mail their needs and problems. Advice and help will be given via e-mail. 2. The River Center will start with one house with the vision of a big center where broken, hurt persons can come to for healing. The foundation of the River Center will be based on Isaiah 58: 6-12. The center will work with persons that have already given their lives to Jesus Christ and have the need to come to place where they can receive healing and the love of Jesus Christ. The Center will provide a safe refuge during the time of healing. The Center will also be involved with inner city outreaches. 3. Mustard Seed Ministries and Deo Valente Mission International will run as two separate ministries. 4. We are in the process of register Mustard Seed Ministries as an Article 21 Company with tax reductions and also as an individual Non Profit Organisation. Please pray for us for Gods provision and total blessings on the project. If you feel to do a donation it can be deposit into Deo Valente Mission Internationals bank account with reference: Mustard Seed ministries.
